Glad you like it. It has been a lot of work and time! I think me and my neighbor spent five hours just doing the plumbing and planning what else is needed. For example, I bought a little light thread that is sensor turn on and off but the instructions say don't put in humid environment. That's for inside the cabinet. So he suggested getting half inch clear tubing to put it in. Another trip to the hardware store!

I think you are off to a great start and you are to be congratulated on taking your time with this build! I'll be following along from here on.

Plumbing done. Changed the emergency drain from the mock up. I still have to hook up the silicone line to the return pump.

Well, I have had leaking bulkheads to fix and more silicone needed on the baffles. I wish I had tested each section of the baffles first! Oh well. I am starting to design my aquascape. And I won a red montipora at our recent MTRC meeting.

This is the general aquascape idea I am shooting for. The next picture is beginning to lay some dry rock and oyster shells without eMarco 400 which I am waiting on. I have existing live rock which will go in the sump.

I ended up painting the back of the tank with Behr 8 oz interior eggshell enamel sample paint from Home Depot. The color is Tanzanite MQ313. My Reefbreeder light makes it pop more than I intended!

Latest update:
Have two Clowns, Vanderbilt Chromis and Royal Gramma
4 Ricordeas, Xenia, 3 Leathers, Mushroom, Candy Cane, Acan and Montiporas

My goodness, the that stand must weigh 500 lbs. also screws are good (it’s what I would use) but don’t have lower sheer strength than nails. I really like the tank, 40 breeder plus 2” in height

Hey, love the build! I have been looking to purchase this exact tank, but I cannot find it for sale and in stock anywhere online.

Where did you purchase this from?
Your LFS should be able to order one for you.
