i've been trying to get into SW tanks for a while now. i've been keeping FW, mainly cichlids, for the past 5-6yrs. last year i started collecting parts for a rimless Mr. Aqua 25g cube. my wife and i had been looking for houses since last august so i decided i'd wait to set up the cube until i found a permanent residence. so in the mean time i decided to set up a 5.5g tank at my office. i travel a bit so i wanted it simple and to be able to run when im away, a week at the most at a time.

for filtration i modded a AC70 HOB filter with filter floss and chemipure then tossed the heater in. my lighting is a RapidLED par38 bulb ran off a timer and a auto-feeder for the fish and corals. i also have an ATO to keep my salinty constant.

i've tried a good mix of corals and have had trouble with SPS. i've had a few SPS casualties in the tank up until now and a few of the ones i currently have are looking a little rough.
