Looking good, I love your frog spawn. I'm glad you got your money back from PayPal, would have been better if the seller handled it better but a win is a win.
Yes my frogspawn was listed as a neon green frogspawn. They had colonies for $100 had about 5 heads on them. I saw that one and asked if I could get a better deal since it’s only one head. So they gave it to me for $25 and hopefully in a few months it will have more heads !

Quick update tonight. I am at work until 330 tomorrow afternoon and just got noticed my power went out at 10:00 pm. Kind of freaking out as my restore time is estimated at 2am and there is no one home to take action ( fiancé is at her bachelorette party for the weekend)

He’s not swimming properly and appears to be breathing heavy. His back half appears to be a different color and I’m not sure what it could be. But I don’t think he’s going to survive

Have not updated in a while : things are progressing...... still battle a major green alage outbreak which I believe is fueled by decaying organics from the dry live rock. My phosphate is .02 nitrate is un detectable. Today I scrubbed everything with a tooth brush before I did a 50% water change. I will be going into a 3 day light out period then scrubbing and doing another water change. My corals are happy and have good polyp extension and I’ve also added a red and green Monti as well has a Christmas favia from pacific east corals. I was impressed with the frags as they where big an healthy!
I also enlisted the help of a tuxedo urchin and he’s been eating tons of alage it just takes him a long time to do it! Check out the pics !

Did your Blenny make it? Frags are looking good. I will be adding a few corals from my coral qt this weekend, plus we have a local frag swap this weekend so we will see what I find there.

Unfortunately my blenny did not make it. It was some sort of bacterial infection that took place during a massive bacterial bloom and I did not notice it in time. I will try another one in a few days. My shrimp both molted today after my water change and appear happy !

I highly recommend you check out @PacificEastAquaculture the frags where top notch at a great price as well as there customer service

Sorry for your loss. I will check them out, I normally just buy coral from local reefers. I have never ordered any corals online.

Thank you. I usually don’t do much online shopping either but they are in Maryland and I’m in NY so it’s not to far and they easily had the best frags I’ve ever paid for esp at the price point

Update time!
I just competed a 3 day blackout of the tank to try and combat this alage. I scrubbed everything I could then wrapped the tank in black garbage bags. I have to say it looked pretty good when I took off the garbage bags today. There is still alage but the stuff that I scrubbed off really didn’t grow back. All live stock survived during the last 3 days and corals opened up once the lights where on. Phosphates are at .08 and nitrate between 1-5 pmm

I also received some vibrant in the mail today as I’ve herr nothing but good things. I will be trying it out on this gha. Here is the before pic and we will see what it looks like in a few weeks. The first dose was 6ml around 4 pm today. As per the instructions I’ll be doing 6ml once a week

I also received my lid from @ArtFully Acrylic ! I ordered it in the beginning of August. Communication was kind of rough at time but they alway got back to me eventually! I have to say I am extremely happy with the was it turned out! It fit perfectly, I did have to shave a little off the side that goes around my Radion mount but I contribute that to my not knowing how to read a tape measure and not there fault. I do wish I got a feed door but o well it’s not a big deal

Nice lid I think you just convinced me to order one for my tank, I made my own screen top and it fits perfectly but would like a custom made top with a feed door.

I made my own top also but I wasn’t happy with it. So I decided to do this and couldn’t be happier ! Here’s a pic of it on top of the tank

You should try out a turbo snail or something likewise. I had a couple tuxedo urchins when I had a little algae outbreak also and they did well but went to my lfs and they gave me a turbo snail to try out. I have to say they put in work as soon as I put them in the tank just make sure to probably only get one as in you'll need enough algae to feed it.
