Good day all
I am sharing the start of my build , wish I could share the cost , holy moly money creeps out of your wallet fast
Found this tank on a local sell page , saw it sit there for a few weeks figuring must be something wrong with it , nobody is buying it
Took the plunge and messaged
Turned out to be a diamond in the rough that nobody could get past
The tank was in a sick kids hospital and the person who took care of it passed away so it sat for a very long time
It was abused and scratched up like you cant imagine
20 hours of wet sanding and then the buff and it came out great
Ive taken my skills as a 3d enthusiast and started printing a new lid ( still in progress)
Lights will hang from the arch , front and back piece will slide off leaving lights in place for maintenance
I will be plumbing it to a sump in the basement , still have to drill the main tank
You will see in the piks how it had side posts, those are gone , will be painting stand black and modernizing the whole system
Current purchases going into build
Jabeo 18000 to pump up to next floor
Icecap3k
Acrylic sump 55 gallons
55 gallon rodi storage
29 gallon salt premix tank at tank temp with top up
