The Breeders Mini-Me Reef/Refugium.. I need to invest in better lighting for it, the Par38 isn’t doing that great of a job.

Ha! You moved the orange plate. I think it works centered because there is nothing else to really balance that unusual color in there. It creates a beautiful separation along the front between the two main structure fore areas. Nice job.

EDIT: I guess it was always there. That other image was more zoomed in. Still looks great.

Good observation, I actually did move it a couple times today, first back several inches which I didn’t like and then just a little to the left of where it was. Most likely waisting my time as they will walk around ;)

Thanks man.. those are gold dust Palythoas, very cool but invasive so didn’t want to put that rock in the new tank.

These guys never stand still long enough to get a picture, they spend most of their time behind the overflow with the clown.. the electric blue and neon yellow colors are crazy bright!

How did you manage to snatch and grab the crab? I also found this

https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/x-is-for-xanthid-crab.273635/

I agree, definitely the right move to remove the crab.

Although I didn’t see him do it I’m almost positive he made the hole in my scoly.. after a couple attempts to catch it I spotted my scoly actually moving one morning, I took a large net and scooped down under it removing scoly, substrate and all. I placed the scoly in a container and turned it over, the crab was wedged in a crevice underneath it. The scoly completely healed in a couple days and has been puffing up more than ever.
