My biggest upgrade fear, I now want to keep the old tank too.

Sooooooo when one upgrades to a newer tank how do you keep yourself from trying to repurpose the old one?

I have a hard time keeping up with one tank, especially during the summer and fall months.

I keep bouncing between a frag tank or a macro algae display tank with garden eels and such.

Yes, I have three tanks and upgrading to combine two of them for two total. I have trouble keeping up with two tanks even. Less is more in reefing sometimes.

I have always sold off my old tanks for money toward newer equipment or equipment for the new project in general or livestock.

If I want to add something in my system I go to petco for a cheapo basic tank, and sell my nice DT.

It would be awful. So much work. So expensive. I dont recommend it at all.
Do as I say and not as I do. I am only up to 3. Give me a break.
