Hi r2r friends this is going to b strange but I honestly can't find my build thread to add this to it n my wife's busy. She did post some recent pic. Of my little Cade growth after only 4 mo. There are approx 6 different species of plant life and the mussels are now easier to see. I'm really enjoying the cade but am trying to break in a new reef octopus 150 but I'm not there yet. I'll add this somehow to my thread but wanted to share the progress w u folks hope it works n happy reefing

Hello n Happy Holliday's to everyone on and at reef 2 reef, world wide. This holiday build thread may wonder a bit but I hope not. OK, so on my build its almost 1 year old to the day. After being n this lifestyle, I consider this " hobby" a lifestyle because 1 if your n it you have some laid back feelings n thoughts that others will pick up on n will want to hang out for a while n trade tank thoughts gear n experiences. 2 in this hobby its expensive , time consuming and relaxing. In other words this hobby will take precedence over other things like serious alcohol use or expensive drug use or most any other life experience you run into.
3 it reduces stress and anxiety and is very therapeutic for PTSD( my prob, as well as drug n alcohol) or any other stresses you in counter. enough already, we r wondering. So I've learned a lot n this year and document daily . I've been n here over 20 r 25 years n found how little I knew . spent a lot of money n wasn't as patient as I should have been. If your new I'd get my #s n line n they would hold for 2 to 4 weeks so I'd buy some awesome fish or coral , that would change my stability n the dying would begin. Not only is it costly its down right SAD. I've met n deal w some great new friends and learned a few new tricks n if anyone has a question or comment I don't hit please hit me up. This place n all about it is what I like to call home. When seeing their site the first 2 words are Welcome Home. Now As its a year my # s r finally staying stable. That n truth has a very large part due to Red Sea s reef pro system. It helped to balance out algae control, put alk. at a constant 9.6 calcium I can move between 450 to 500 w absolutely no probs. n I feel when adding new corals I move up a bit n after it all settles down I can safely bring it to 470 to 480, where I like it to b. Mag. is stable but haven't checked # s in a little while. I know, shame on me n I'm going to have that # in a day or 2. The trace elements I don't have the test kits for but if color, vibrance and growth r a indication I'm there. I'm also feeding R. S. Reef nutrition along w Algagen phytoplankton infused w zoo algae something. Sorry about the non spelling word but its a must for corals. And I just got back from breaking up a fight between my 4 n 5 year old grandsons. I also add a small serving of apacocyclops . I feed the R. S. 2 x a day n the other feeding things like apacocyclops infused w my home grown copeopods 1 x a day. For those that doesn't know my tank is the Cade 600 PR and its a Mandarin n coral tank only. ( now). Thanks Algae Barn, you guys hooked me up great when I bought my tank from u n u gave me the Red Sea program along w a Ton of other things, oh and a Hugh hellow n love u folks there, Sam, Rav, j, m, a everyone else there, you guys Rock!! I'm going to b adding to this post from now till 1/1/2022 but need to charge me n phone w a little food energy, as well as my 2 little partners. Q' s n C"s r encouraged just so I can cover this build thread greatly as possible plus there are is a lot to cover. Thanks n c u soon
