I read somewhere to catch them in a dark room with tank lights off and using a red flashlight because the fish don’t see red like we do...never tried it myself.
I found a interesting fish trap in tank matez.

..I ordered one, if that doesn't work I guess my reef is coming apart...not a huge fan of option 2.

+1 ^^ Does sound more like velvet than ich if they died that quickly. Any pics of the fish showing the infection?

Well I feel like a terrible fish mom...I don't even know what half if that means and I only have 3 of those meds. I do have a power head and airstone going...and I can't seem to find live food...just frozen.
Its not a must. You just gotta make sure they eat.

Copper power and a hanna checker are bare minimum.
Ive kept QT tanks running for 14 days no issues by just water changes daily.

In summary...quick hospital tank,

Prepare a QT tank with fresh salt water matching your parameters...
Dose with 1ppm copper power
Drop fish in.
50% water changes daily with predosed copper water.
ramp up each water change .25ppm daily until 2ppm then let them chill for 14 days until transfer to a sterile QT for observation and other meds if needed.

That looks like ich, at a minimum. There may be other parasites present, but I can 100% confirm ich.
