Hi,
My clownfish will not move from his rock and did not eat this morning:eek:.He has one white spot on his side and slightly ragged fin at the very back (I believe this is the caudel fin?)How can I treat and do I need to setup a quarantine tank?
Thanks

If you think you have Ich or Velvet, see my thread from several days ago. It has all the answers. There are 2 of them by the way. If you don't have coral yet, suggest you use Seachem Paraguard. You won't have to quarantine anything.

I have heard that raising the temerature can do the trick?
Is this true
Nope. That's common for freshwater ich; marine ich is different and raising the temp does nothing to help rid the parasites.

Description and life cycle:

Three different methods to treat:

Being sticky and staying connected: Have you used any reef-safe glue?
