I've had a lot of folks as if I have a build thread so I thought I'd put this together to help track my collection as it grows and also spark discussion on best practices to grow healthy and vibrant SPS. I've been in the hobby now for 14 years but have only been serious about growing sps for the last 4 or so. I currently run two tanks plumbed together for additional volume. Info on the system below:

Display:
Volume: 150 Gallons
Lighting: 4 Radion Gen 4 Pros and 4 ATI T5s running Blue Plus bulbs

Growout:
Volume: 60 Gallons
Lighting: 8 bulb ATI (6 B+ and 2 Act) with 2 ReefBrite XHO Strips

I am in the process of converting to a 240 reef tank 96x48x12. More on the new set up as things progess.

Water Parameters:
Alk - 8.2
Calc - 420
Mag - 1380
No3 - 5
Po4 - .04

I currently run a vertex doser and use Red Sea Foundations for my main 3 (calc, alk, mag)

Now for the fun part..the pics. Most of these are taken under all 8 bulbs plus the reefbrites. Ill do my best to identify ones taken under the radions or shots under all blues. (I'm having issues adding pics so bear with me)

I dose Unicorn Blood 3x a week [emoji6]

Honestly I’ve had much better coloration with slightly elevated nutrients. PE seems better as well.

Well I’ve just had to google Umicorn Blood and it brings up a red lipstick! And even if it Colours up my corals, I ain’t wearing that! Lol

Is it some sort of magic voodoo potion or something?

And that last picture is beautiful, as are all of them

I appreciate it. I don't do anything special. Just try my best to keep water parameters tight and honestly the colors have improved drastically since bumping up my No3 and Po4. All of these pics are recent and post crash. I lost a TON of stuff last year so just because stuff looks good now doesn't mean I don't deal with the same issues everyone else does. My tank just happens to be happy with me for the time being :)

Stunning colors.

To confirm: aside from Red Sea Foundations for you calc, alk, and mag, you're not dosing trace elements or anything, right? Just running with a touch more NO3 and PO4 than normal (I say a touch more than normal because I wouldn't call 5 ppm and 0.04 high by any means)?
