I’ve started using acro power about 3 weeks ago and the growth is crazy. I am about to get a bigger tank for sure.
Your corals are gorgeous. Colors are outstanding.

How/what do you do when the corals encrust too close to each other?

I've heard of people using aiptasia x. Will the scraping cause alot of stress on the acro?
Not really. Those Rock Hard Reef squares I use are pretty convenient for scraping. The corals break off it easy and if you can catch a lip you can just snap it back. I have to do that to my Vivid Rainbow all the time or it would be growing on other tiles and the frag racks.

@Russo757 Do you have reef raft Mardi Gras or reef raft rainbow blossom?
I had the OG Mardi Gras and it was hands down one of my favorite corals. I’d love to get s piece of anyone can locate some.

I’ve seen the 2.0 Mardi and it’s also gorgeous, but in its own way. I’ve yet to add that one to my collection but hope to have both one day.

Never seen rainbow blossom. Do you have a pic?

Quick tank update. Alk has fluctuated a few times but all in all the transition to reactor has been smooth. Current levels as of last night

Alk - 8.2
Calc - 500+
Mag - 1420
No3 - 6
Po4 - .06

I did notice that dosing Acropower causes a drawdown in No3. I was holding steady at 4-8 for months and since dosing Acropower it drifted down to about 1 before I caught it. I added some CANo3 to boost No3 back up and now am back to monitoring No3 biweekly.

What’s working for you guys? Anyone doing anything new and getting good result?

Do you intentionally keep you CA that high? When I dosed acropower my nitrates rose.

Although going slowly, I stopped carbon dosing for a week due to a trip and they reached 30ppm.
