8 month post adoption.
Been a busy month. I was able to add several “rescue” corals. Some where from a lock business that were either bleached or algae covered. The rest were from a crashed tank tear down.
From the tank tear down, I adopted:
6 sps frags
6-7” Derasa Clam
4-5” Maxima Clam
Bubble coral
Beach Bum M
TSA Pink Goni with yellow centers
2 photosynthetic Gorgonians
Also setup a tank for my wife. The yellow long nose butterfly killed a small derasa I bought and was moved to her tank long with the clown.
since many of the frags and the maxima were covered with aptasia, I’ve added 2 small aptasia eating file fish.
Anyway, been a good month overall. Enjoy some pictures and a new video.
Yah, the Yellow Longnose is a beautiful fish. Unfortunately, it passed after my wife's tank came down with what looked like Brooklynella. . Once her fallow period is over, I may look at getting another.Sad to see the yellow longnose go, but understandable in that circumstance! Tank is looking really nice! And I love your choice in clownfish. Clarkii clowns are my favorite clowns! My breeding pair are some of my favorite fish in my 75 gallon.
They'll figure it out. My female clarkii wouldn't let the male near "her" anemone for the first 2 weeks, then one afternoon they were like 2 peas in a pod.Yah, the Yellow Longnose is a beautiful fish. Yah, the Clarkii's are Aquacultured. All the ones they store had in were similar sized, so it will be interesting to see how it settles out. Right now, they are on opposite sides of the tank hosting in different symbiotes.
