My clownfish will grab bigger pieces and chase them around the tank eating them. I have a 3.5 cup kitchenaid food chopper but using my chef's knife I can make a mix of sizes for all my fish without it turning into mush. It also helps to let it sit in the freezer to firm up first.

I literally did this yesterday as well. I use a meat grinder and put all the goodies through there. The wife makes me do it outside but man my fish love it!
