Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share my experience with Dino X. If like me some people are having dino issues and are thinking of using the product, hopefully I can add a bit of insight in helping you decide.
My dino issue was so bad that after a few months of indecision, I finally decided to add Dino X to my tank even though the mixed reviews. My system is fairly new, I started my tank last August when I decided to upgrade my last system to my current larger one. I had mainly LPS in my hold system.
I can say that Dino X is useful in eliminating dinos, but unfortunately it is NOT REEF SAFE. It took 6 doses of the product to finally see it fading. After using it, I have lost all of my SPS (3 frags) and one fish.
Would I use it again? Yes, my system was fairly new and I only had a couple of sps frags in my tank. But in no way would I use it down the road when my tank is going to be loaded with corals.
Hope it helps you decide.
