I’m so jealous of the nems you guys have, I had one for around 3 months and the lack of research and impulse buying led me to buying what seemed to be a bleached nem thinking it was some form of rare colour specimen. My clownfish loved it tho but had to give it away as was not doing wel in my tank and kept crawling to the top left of the tank. Even placed a internal filter to act as a barricade but it literally just climbed over . Have placed an order for a bubble tip to come this Tuesday hopefully this one goes better.

Wow, that is the #1 most beautiful color combo! I've been looking for one with that exact coloration for years. I wish I could get my hands on one. Let me know if it ever splits! I'll write a blank check [emoji38]
Aquatic sealife sells them

Reviving an old thread. I have always wanted a Ritteri. I recently ordered one from PEA. It is stunning in the pics (green with purple tips). I am now having some buyers remorse because I am worried it may eat my fish (it’ll be here on Friday). I have a 310 gallon PA peninsula that is moderately stocked with some fish on the more expensive end. What are your experiences with this anemone killing fishes?

I question whether they eat healthy fish, especially with hosting clownfish. 20 years in the hobby, and a mag in my tank for about half of that, I've never seen it eat a fish. Even my smallest fish are bigger than anything I'd intentionally target feed. The clowns are territorial about anyone approaching, so even a really dumb fish - I just don't see it accidentally getting caught. What I can see is a dead fish floating around and getting stuck - I wonder how many people reporting an anemone ate their fish had this happen.

My clowns once dragged a sick female flame angel by the tail into the mag. As soon as the tentacles touched her, she quicky escaped.

I have 3 filefish that have no problems in stealing food from the magnifica's mouth (the clowns don't know how to deal with them).

Hi all! I think I may need to treat my mag as it’s deflating. I just bought it a week ago. Maybe more of an impulse buy than I should have done. The mag seems to open and deflate. Going to look for the sticky thread now…

I had a Dr get me a prescription. As long as it is an antibiotic it should work. Just read and follow the Sticky on this forum.
