Went in yesterday along with the Clowns
Keep an eye on it as your lighting might not be up to the job. I have mine in high PAR with Orphek Atlantics plus a 6500k 16w supliment LED spotlight.

Thanks, Yes I am hypothesizing about my mags light requirement and if anything my PAR may have been too low for it rather than too high asI have only added to the light the Radion gives it the Radion is still above the nem as before. I just don't think my nem was getting enough of the daylight spectrum and I have added to that now with the ASTA20 6500k LED. My nem seems happy in its original position with the added 6500k. Maybe H.magnifica's although all being the same species some have adapted to bluer light while others found much nearer the surface enjoy more of the white spectrum my 6500k is now providing to their satisfaction.
When I kept magnifica it was under 400 watt Radions with 20k spectrum...it grew extremely large.....and was healthy as horse.... I do not think it was the yellow 6500 spectrum as these were 20k blue...?????

Magnifica is one of my favorite anemone species along with Gigantea.
They do need a lot of light. I have not try blue light, prefer full spectrum light. I think as long as they have enough PAR they should be fine. 450+ I would say to keep they happy and stay in place, along with adequate water flow. High flow is good for them IMO
Feeding is not needed unless you want them to grow quickly.
