This is a 90 gallon saltwater setup that I recently purchased off craigslist. Was a heck of a deal I think at well under $1000. I have never done saltwater before but have always wanted to. My plan is to make this tank a beautiful mixed reef system!

90 gallon main display with 20 gallon sump.
Main tank dimensions: 48" W x 18" D x 25" H
Sump dimensions: 24" W x 12" D x 16" H

System came with an Octo Classic 150s protein skimmer, two 1500gph powerheads and one 750 gph powerhead, one 300W heater in the main tank, one 200W heater in fuge chamber, one 100W heater in skimmer chamber, hang on overflow box, an ATO, a BRS stage 4+ RODI system, two LED GLO light fixtures and a return pump.

Tank also came with a lot of live rock, 3 clownfish, a powder brown tang, and a lot of ricordea mushrooms.

I have added 3 banggai cardinals, a cleaner shrimp, and a handful of trochus snails.

The tank also had gravel substrate which I have since changed out to Carib-Sea Fiji Pink live sand.

Picture 1 is before the substrate change and picture 2 is from the day of substrate change (might still be a little bit cloudy.) I did re arrange the aquascape a little after the sand went in. I apologize for the glare, I'm not so great at taking pictures.

This rascal sand sifter has dug holes in the sand under almost every rock in the tank!

Thanks for the welcome! I am very excited to start on this venture! Ive had a couple freshwater tanks in the house for years and always had an interest for saltwater but didnt have the budget. I know there is still much for me to learn about saltwater, and I hope this forum will continue to help along that journey.
