Hi All,

I'm on day 1 of a new reef set up - its a 525 Litre aquarium; im not completely new to aquariums, but its been many years! finally saved enough money to buy a red sea reefer 525xl.

I'd love to share this with you; and I'm hoping I can get some useful tips from you all.

This is my Rockscape, which im not completely happy with but it was a lot harder than i thought it would be! I feel like once i get soem coral in there it will start to look much better. Will add one more hydra in the middle of the tank this weekend.

Also have a video of my sump - if theres anything that doesnt look right please let me know; as I literally just used youtube videos to muddle my way through!! also does it look like theres enough surface agitation in the main tank?

Plan is to run a refugium once the tank has cycled on alternate time to the main display.
Going to cycle with Dr Tims/ammonium chloride and i used live carib- sea Sand.

Can't believe i finnally have it!! pinching myself!

thanks for any input. ready to learn!
