Progress not. Have not been doing much with the tank this week. I am putting in a family room that I am remodeling. Building an entertainment center at the same time.
It hit me the other morning, I have to lay new carpet before I setup the aquarium. Duh.... 2000ld will not be moving it again.....
Thanks for all the advise.
I’d put that bad boy down and carpet around it. Consider it permanent.

Oh wife would not like that.....
She doesn’t have to know until you move out of that house. I don’t plan on moving any time soon and I’ve already considered whether or not I just say the tank comes with the house and start over. So really, she may never know...

If I was going to use both sumps, one as a fuge. Any suggestions on how to plumb them together?

This is my RODI system. Has 45 psi. Wish it was a little higher.
However the water comes out at zero.

This is my rock. Finally got my heater and pump so they should clean up faster. I think. The smell in the red barrel is gone. The trash can is much better.

I went and bought the new carpet for my family room where the tank will be. Get the carpet laid then move to the building of the stand. Wood or steel?????
On a side note. Lesson number one. Make sure the hose does not blow off of the circulating pump. Even in a trash can.... big mess fast....

This is the entertainment center I have been building. Ready for carpet now. Hope to lay it tomorrow.
Then I can start the tank stand.

Black Friday. Ordered an Apex for this build. Everything I read says they are a good tool to have and build from.
Still have the rocks in a barrel. Should I be doing anything with them. Water change or just let them circulate?

I am getting back to my tank project now that the room is ready to build in. I have two sumps that I am going to plumb together. One will hold most of the media and heaters. The other will be a fuge and return pump and water level area for the ATO. Here is the sump for media.
