It’s easier for me to do biweekly , but I was gonna rent a par meter today and see what my light schedule is about. I plan on having mostly LPS/soft corals maybe MAYBE 1-2 sps on the top this is what I have currently maybe it’s too much maybe not enough who knows because I don’t haha I need a better understanding

To be safe id reccomend everyone rent a par meter and get familiar with what's going on especially with new lights.
The pros give us a baseline to run at for most species. Sure there's going to be exceptions to all the rules but the majority will do well following those base guidelines.

So I got the par meter since I have a nano tank the spread is pretty good I got 100-170 aroun the tank. But I lowered the lights by 30% and no I get 70-150 which I’m OK with. My question is a lot of people say the white light isn’t used by corals so I can use that to get my preferred look so I can adjust that as high or as low as I want ?

1,500 !?! Oh my if my tank was more stable I would invest in those ! Okay here is the plan we all pitch in for this coral who ever has the most stable tank keeps it ! When it grows new heads we split them and give them to the investors haha
