I started my very first tank April 2022 and recently joined the R2R community almost a year into the hobby. Prior to setting up my Fluval 13.5 I’ve never had a fish tank, saltwater or fresh. I decided to get into the hobby one day and the very next day I was at my LFS purchasing all the supplies. Although I’ve dropped a big chunk of money and spent countless hours troubleshooting I have no regrets and I couldn’t love this hobby more. This has been such a fun journey despite my run in with the dreaded dinoflagellet and a number of other troubles. I’m really enjoying the learning process. Here’s what’s currently in my tank:

live rock and sand
1 female clownfish
1 cleaner shrimp
2 emerald crabs
1 nassarius snail
6 astrea snails
1 sand sifting star
Various copepods
Lots of soft corals and mushrooms
