How big is that tank? Is there food for them? Is there extra shells that are larger than theirs if they are trying to molt?

this is what hermits do. They will sometimes fight and kill each other for shells. Make sure you have a variety of empty shells so they don’t to kill for a new home. They will absolutely kill your snails if they need a new home. It’s all very normal
