Following along for the ride.

And 3 hours drive is nearly to other side of country so an eternity away lol
Ironically the day you quoted my post I drove nearly 500km to get home from my holiday to Exmouth. One day we drove 700+km

Swimming with 6 whale sharks and fields of coral was worth the drive though.

Rob, How much time do you give the concrete to cure before you start doing the waterproofing? Did you need to fill in any air bubbles in the concrete before doing the waterproofing? Just wondering... ;)

The concrete, where the glass is touching, is poured in november last year.
The aquarium experts will first start with this part.
I don't know what they will do first, but they need 2 days with 3 people to prepair it for window installation.
I'll take pictures of the progress.
The 3rd day the glass is placed.
Because the house is not water and wind proof yet, from time to time water is seeping in in the aquarium after a heavy rainshower.
It's not sure yet they can finish the whole aquarium because of this problem.

Epoxy finish couldn't been done due to bad weather conditions.
The house first need to be watertight with windows and roof fixed.
Then the aquarium can be finished with epoxy when all the walls are dried.

We are now busy with the facade of the house. We plan window and roof to be ready in January-February.
And move house over 1 year from now.

Then doing garden stuff and then filling up the aquarium.

Come on, surely the aquarium is more important that your walls n a sealed house....joking. That's completely understandable especially if the weathers been so rough. Hope everything goes ok for you

Wild! Amazing build. Is the filtration room under the aquarium?

Such an amazing build. Colors - 5088 or 5011 would be my choice. I prefer the dark/grey/black background to blue, it creates more sense of realism IMO. No matter what you choose it will be beautiful I'm sure!

I see the second story coming together, you're going to have a blast diving in this tank. Love following the progress!
