Hi all,

I always dreamt about a big aquarium so we designed the aquarium first and create a house round it.
That's how it all started more than one year ago. Last week we poured the concrete.
I wanted to share this with you.

Filtrationroom is located in the basement.
Access to the aquarium by first floor.

21 feet x 13.5 feet.

Normally the aquarium will be waterinsulated and glass fixed in place in week 7 of this year.
But because of cold weather and covid, I think that date will be postponed.
26th of January the glass will be delivered at the factory. In the weeks after, I plan a visit to verify everything is OK.
So, next message will be one with a picture .

Now we are waiting for a delivery of 16.500 lbs of steal for the building structure of the house.

I'm in doubt with the overflow box and piping of the returnpumps.

For the overflow:
In one corner of the tank I have 4 pipes of 4 inches diameter which will be hidden in the radius of the round corner.
What do you think I need for piping for the overflow?

For the clean water, I want to use (multiple) Abyzz A400 pumps. They have an output diameter of 1,6".
That looks pretty narrow for such a big tank. What's your opinion?

Rob the Abyzz 400 Watt pumps not even more water flow than the Abyzz 200. Only more presure for more meters high. If I am you I would use the Abyzz 1200 Watt Return pumps

Getting good flow in that is going to be difficult. Are you plumbing some closed loops and running some nozzles into the live rock?
