Today has been exactly 30 days since I started my tank. I must say I am very impressed with the zeovit so far. No algea what so ever since day one. I don't even have to clean the glass. Right now it is still pretty empty. Only one fish so far. I am quarantine everything so it will take me a little while before my first coral goes in the tank. I can't believe I have been able to be so patient. Lol. Later today I will do some test and post the results.

Would you mind taking pictures of your sump area? Super curious how you have the zeovit set up.

Currently I am running the Zeovit media in a sock in that first chamber. Just shaking it every day. Planning on either making my own reactor or buying the IM reactor and making adjustments to it to make it work. In the last chamber I have the carbon in a media bag.

Just tested..

Cal- 505
Alk- 9.1
Phos- 0
Nitrate- 2.5
Ph-8.04
Salinity - 1.024
Currently using Instant Ocean Salt, but will be changing it to Red sea. I need my Alk and Calcium to be lower than that to work better with the zeovit.

Everything coming along nicely. How do you like the rock so far? I'm going to be using the life rock in my build also.

Just a little update. Top picture was taken today( october,11) bottom was taken September 22. I am very happy with the growth of the coral so far. Not sure if you can notice the growth, they are mostly spreading on the base. Color wise they are still getting there. I had them in quarantine and they lost a lot of color. But they are starting to color up nicely. Can't wait till they get their awesome colors. Now time to start looking for my next batch.

Looks great. What is the bulb combination you are going with?
Thank you. Wish I could say everything is going well but I lost almost all of my coral. Everything was going great, growing very fast and coloring up nicely. I started to get Dinos and everything went down hill after that. I beleive, starting off with dry rock and no sand, having no Nitrates or Phosphates and having a hard time keeping my Alk stable eventually led to the loss. I realized my Magnesium was really low which is why I beleive my Alk was not staying stable. I am now fixing everything and just going to wait a little before adding corals again. As for your question on the bulb combination, I am using 2 Blue plus, 3 coral plus and one Fiji purple.

After 2 years, finally an update on my build. I did add sand to my system and I was able to get my parameters stable. I started to add coral again in February and everything is growing nicely.
