The return T is on the side .
more from from that one compared to the other

That is true - I wasn't even thinking that when I posted that but have since realized that. At the time I realized I put the check valve above the T so when the return pump goes off it only stop water on one side and not the other. I keep telling myself I'm gonna fix it but haven't yet lol.

When I moved my tank I found this hidden in my rock up top but it was getting good light - no idea what it is. It might have come in a BattleBox from @Battlecorals. Everything I got in that box has done really well. I should probably write down names.

Time for an update...

Cleared out a few corals to make room for a few new frags. Also took out a fair amount of the new sand I had put in when I transferred to the new tank. Cyano just kept taking it over so enough was enough. Since I took it out Cyano hasn’t come back (fingers crossed).

Added a Santa Monica Drop Algea Scrubber - going to try that instead of a Refugium - see how it goes. It’s growing Algea so that’s a good thing. Replaced the heater - it was about a year old so felt like it couldn’t hurt. Also change my skimmer to a Bulb Magus Curve 7 - I’ve been really impressed. I kinda miss the Life Reef but it took up a lot of real estate in my sump.

I started dosing a few things all KZ products - going to give them 2 months and see what happens.

Here’s a new full tank shot

So things are going well in the tank but my NO4 is getting a little low (.02) my PO4 is pretty much always at .05 which I am fine with. However my colors aren't what I think they could be. I think I want to raise my NO4 a little maybe up to 1+ and see if it shows a difference. I've thought about just dosing to get it up or cut back on my daily AWC to see if that has any impact - anyone have any thoughts?

It’s been a while since my last update. Things are going well. Today I upgraded my Calcium Reactor to Geo’s CR612X2. High quality for sure and I was lucky it fit in my cabinet. Still trying to find a larger CO2 tank. Really would like to squeeze in a 20lb bottle if I can ever find one.

The catalyst for the new CalRx was just the need from the corals. My old was too small and couldn’t keep up. In the last few months I’ve add 3 BattleBoxes so I have frags a plenty growing now.

Well I’ve decided to change out my lights. I’ve watched every Video from @randyBRS and I’m die hard T5 but I’m going to move to 4 XR15’s over the tank. I’m also going to order the @AquaticLifeProducts hybrid fixture. Going to run 2 Blue+ and 2 Coral+ bulbs ATI bulbs.

My current T5 Subpower fixture has 2 ReefBrite Lumi Light +’s I’m thinking it’s overkill to add those in addition to the hybrid T5 fixture and 4 XR15’s?

I also figured another MP40 couldn’t hurt!

Big thanks to Reef Co in NJ - they always have everything you could ever need including the entire Ecotech Marine and Neptune lines. As well they have a killer collection of Fish, CUC, SPS and LPS!

Really nice corals and growth. Just curious as to what the reason was for going to Radion's? Also, if you decide to sell the ATI/Reefbrite combo I'm most definitely interested :) Anyways, awesome reef!

Great reef tank.
How do you like the new light and how did you mount them?

I mounted them into an Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid fixture. I’m using 2 ATI Blue+, 1 Coral+ and 1 Actinic. But I think I’m change out the Coral+ and just run 2 Actinic. I only run the T5’s for a few hours a day and I have the 2 pairs of bulbs start and end time staggered a little.
