I placed my lemon peel angel fish to QT about 2 weeks ago for ich since it was a tank wide infection I had to place him with 4 more fish in a 20 gallon tank the fish are as listed a tomini tang (he died in the first 4 days because of ich) 2 black clown fish and a royal gramma

His bottom lip has a injury that is not getting better it seems to be getting worse I don't know what it is or how to treat it do you guys have any idea

Ps. He was nipping on my rock flower anemone I don't know if that has anything to do with it if it got stung

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Is the angel still eating?
Could it have caught its teeth in the net when you moved it to the QT?

The general treatment for this would be a broad spectrum gram negative antibiotic like Neoplex.

Ruby will work but the recommended seachem Kanaplex Jay recommended will be more effective. I agree on the little spikes behind gills getting caught in net when fish was caught. Ruby will take longer to work and this infection needs to be reversed so fish can eat and breathe normally
