I went to the LFS and next to the corals there was this rock with one little brown coral that looked like an octopus. I asked how much and they sold it to me for $50.

I am such an excellent coral keeper. I kept my parameters as stable as possible and it’s really paying off. The coral is growing nicely, but I wish it could grow faster.

I can make so much money from these. I have a lot for sale! I don’t think I’m ready to sell them yet because they are just starting to fully encrust my rock. I might sell it for $30 a piece. But they are worth much more! They look even nicer in actinics!

Let me know if anyone wants to be on a waiting list! It’s a steal! They add movement and they grow if you keep you parameters stable. The LFS said they were expert only, so I don’t recommend them for you if you are new to corals.

I don’t have any more pictures. They grow moderately paced for me.

I found this product that really worked for me. It’s called “Aip Ta SiaX” and it comes with a really cool feeding syringe. It makes them grow about 2x faster in my opinion. There’s a lot of ways to grow them but you have to be carful because a lot of fish may pick at them. Only purchase reef safe fish.

This is my way of coping with aiptasia. They came in on corals (I didn’t see them with my naked eye) and spread QUICK!

My tank is fallow for a few more weeks, but I have a copperband butterfly in QT!! I’m SO tempted to add an aiptasia eating filefish because they look cool and eat aiptasia, but are very likely to also consume corals.

Peppermint shrimp didn’t do anything :(

Nothing worse than hiring some peppermint shrimps to only find out they are not doing there job and being lazy getting a free meal...lol

I see them at petco all the time but I’m afraid to buy one because they also have a lot of pest BTA’s in their tanks and I ain’t about to drop that kinda cash on the hassle of trying to rid my tank of those pesky BTA’s. You’re sooooooo lucky.
