I wonder if it was too weak from the cipro treatment, hence need feeding afterwards. Or if your radion LEDs don’t provide enough light intensity of the right spectrum. So then others supplement with those 5500k led supplements?

I have 3 black boxes at max intensity. I doubt it’s in the 5500k range vs the 10k range. My magnifica is directly 2” away from surface. Now after 10 months it’s starting to get short tentacles as well. I don’t feed regularly To see if that will stimulate it to grow back again.

I also read in Toms thread on RC that he said too much flow pounding the anemone could cause the short tentacles? But I doubt you moved your powerheads at all?

I think its the cipro... the nem gets over 450 par peak in its current location...so i believe the orpheks are fine.

Hey fam, just another minor update with some comparison shots. Much of the same... colors are coming in as indicated in my previous post. Its really starting to fill out. Feeding has been the key for me, and i will continue to feed until either i feel the Mag is 100% (no bleached areas and full color), or if its growing to the point where the size will become and issue.

Happy Friday family!! My journey to a healthy Mag is coming to an end! Its growing! Long thick tentacles, very sticky and finally most of the color has returned...there are a few bleached spots but i can see color coming back as well. I feel confident the animal is healthy and im out of the woods. I will continue to update this forum for anyone attempting such a delicate and challenging anemone, but the frequency will be greatly reduced; I feel its getting to be very redundant. I will focus on my sps collection and my tank build thread. Thank you guys for all of your help, support and best wishes. This forum is truly one of the best online. Please see the latest pic collection. FYI i changed the angle and zoom of the pics, so while it may appear the size is the same..... IT IS NOT..lol, Its gotten a lot bigger. When the clownfish are in the anemone they now disappear.

Apologies for the blown out colors, lights have started to fade into the blues for the day. The anemones were looking especially happy this evening and wanted to share.
Your sarcasm is misplaced and also very inaccurate... guess you never saw a tank from the top down.. you should try it sometime. Nice try though.

So blown out

@Sdot no hard feelings friend. The internet works in clumsy ways. For a moment I thought you were being sarcastic to my perceived sarcasm, so, I in turn ended actually being sarcastic.
