How long has it been in there? It could be that the color is changing somewhat with different tank parameters and lighting. Phosphate is a little high, but shouldn't be a problem for a monti if not happening suddenly. Would be worth checking nitrate too, and flow. Montis generally don't need a lot of flow, but if detritus can collect in a cap, you probably want a bit more over it.

You are probably using an API kit if you have a reading of .5 phosphate and 0 nitrate.

Its not a very accurate test, get yourself another brand. I have let my phosphate get up to .4 in the past, it damages monti's and other sps's right away.

Hard to tell in that picture, what other corals do you have that are doing fine, 0nitrate and high p04 is harsh on sps, you can get them use to that with some nitrate, but not in 2.5 weeks. if it was the same #'s when you placed it in your system, thats more than likely a shock to it, although we don't know what the condition of the system it came from was in. Has it had P.E since you've had it in your system?

Alk needs to come down gradually which affects CA and PH
Phos- add ChemiPure blue or elite which will lower it and keep it in check

What test kits are you using ?
