Ok in your system? You know I added many of the bounces while my system was still cycling. Shrooms are super hardy. Especially the bounces. They just like stable. Will do well in a wide range of nutrients. It’s a journey, always changing and learning. That’s the fun! I’ve still only got one lonely blue shroom in my display. No babies and it’s only gone from a pencil eraser to nickel sized. I’m trying to hold off on these big $$ shrooms until I know they will be ok.
Very nice. I may have to look into these! I have an alveopora thats doing really well. Like to try my hand at a goniAnd my saltwater blackberries ;Hilarious
Thank you man! For now. I had a system down to where I'd change out racks with clean racks ever cpl weeks and it worked well. Plus idk what it is but maybe the just prefer the smooth flat surface over sharp rough terrain? Would make sense for soft smooth skin. Just a hunch on mine. Although I do see alot of nice garden with shrooms growing all over rock. Probably would have been different here if I started with ocean rock.Very nice and clean!!!
Great update! Your mushrooms are are looking really good!!!Just cant stay out of fish room!
Hope your ready for some more huge picture dumps Reefs feeling good again.
Before whites ramp up
Running my V2+ close to brs setting but keeping the reds and greens equal as well as 5% higher on the whites.
Thanks broGreat update! Your mushrooms are are looking really good!!!
The colony in pic #2 is very reminiscent of the Frankenstein shroom, where did you get it? I feel like it could have some major potential.Just cant stay out of fish room!

Oh man hi Jack away! Are you referring to this guy? Ive been trying to get into too many convos on bouncing, lighting, feeding and just about anything I can think of on bounces! Oddly enough havent found much on it besides what I'm personally seeing in my system. The colony in pic #2 is very reminiscent of the Frankenstein shroom, where did you get it? I have been doing some research lately on the formation of bounce vesicles, it's very misunderstood by most but they seem to be caused by high amounts of UV in the spectrum. Older mother shrooms have been bombarded with it for longer and thusly are more susceptible to it and can be permanently altered by it. On the flip side, babies are also susceptible to it at they have no built up resistance to the UV and can be damaged easily if in full exposure.
At least, that's what I've come to believe from my research. So at some point, I'm hoping to try and force-bounce a few test shrooms by exposing them to UV a couple of seconds per day. It should be a cool experiment for sure.
Sorry for the hijack lol I just thought you may be interested to hear about that.
I'm actually talking about these ones here!Oh man hi Jack away! Are you referring to this guy? If this is the guy it was labeled Toxic bounce that came from a reefer. I think it was mislabeled.
Can't find much on it.

They have the pink rim of the Frank but with the crazy orange enter tentacles! It would be interesting to see if it will bounce for you.
