I had a feeling that was really nice piece you took:) Wouldn't be surprised if develops a mouth in next week. Ill say 2 weeks tops. Do you feed reef roids or anything similar to your shrooms?
Its crazy to see them eat when they are so tiny but they will eat as soon as they develop a mouth:D

I dose aquavitro fuel it has carbohydrates, vitamins, fatty acids and amino acids. ive been staying away from the roids and not stocking heavy on fish because I'm more dedicated to the coral and I have and undersized skimmer and small fuge. So trying to keep my nitrate and phosphate down with success. Ill be adding one of those 50 gallon lowboy aquariums in the future for mushroom/zoas/palys and pipefish! Definitely looking forward to seeing this mushroom grow.

Right on me too:) Please update with progress pictures. Ive taken frags probably every way possible now. And to be honest the frags i cut directly from shrooms can take up to few months to recover fully and start growing. If they recover and start growing at all.
Super interested to see how well it does and what it looks like in a few months:)

Here we go! Gonna have my mushroom table up faster than expected! Put a wanted add out on my local forum For a 50gallon lowboy and scored this one with a stand for 50$ and a torch frag. 48"x24"x10" had to silicone a pane of glass in but I have plenty of silicone. Gonna be a 36" 8 bulb ATI fixture for lighting, Sea side aquatics es5 protein skimmer, Eshopps sump........ Thank you for the inspiration LRT!!!

Totally awesome man:) Glad I could be of an enabler hahaha man very cool makes me feel a little more normal I have the rest of these guys to thank!
I've been knees and elbows deep in reef today. Almost everyday and weekends getting things cleaned up and fiddling.

Wife comes in earlier amd say why don't you just get some tanks!:) Full disclosure this system is working but could be so much better.
I'm gonna ask my favorite lfs to build me a few 40 breeders and be done with it:)
Gonna keep original 2 tables going but so much I can do better an learned this last year. Its on and poppin:)

40 breeders you say? Why not a lowboy like I picked up? or two......maybe more ;) we gotta get these mushroom farms goin you know what I'm saying?;Hilarious
Im like the deeper water for better water movement and spectrum blend and trying to plan for down the road when I want to do other things.
I'll be honest though my lfs only runs those lowboys so I may seriously consider. Going to price both and think about it a little more before I make decision.

@LRT what about a 150g or 115 floodtables kinda like what you got now but bigger(8x2.75 x 1.5 ft) I just ordered me one because I ran into the same ordeal(running out of space wanna buy more mushie) plus I'm a sucker for the top down I figure I'll either go t5 or buy 4 ecotech radion xr15 g5 and overspec if I could find a good deal, but I figure why waste all that money when you can light any 2 x 4 section for 150$ with the t5s, it was either between this or 2 50g zoomed lowboys back to back(poorly made imo) so I opted for the flood table because it was cheaper and I'm a sucker for the top down( plus it has alot of options if I ever get tired of reefing which I doubt I could use it form my other ermmmm cough hobby...but tell me what you think... I'll probably do a build thread and tag the mushroom family also could you give us all a top down of the mushie garden that would make my night!
