After quarantining my last addition, a foxface rabbitfish, I introduced him last night. I noticed before hand that my naso was mouthing, but had been healthy until then with the exception of my tank being an ich management tank. This morning he had a light splotch on his back and I came home to find him belly up on the sand and the spot it bigger. Do you think a foxface sting did this? I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture. He was everyone's favorite so we are pretty bummed

When you say the naso was “mouthing” do you mean rapid breathing?
I’ve never seen a fox face sting and kill another fish, their spines are a defense from being eaten, not used as an offensive weapon.

That patch may be bacterial and often associated with water quality.
What is your:
Ammonia?
Nitrate?
PH?
salinity?
Temperature?
