Hello Everyone, I am new to this hobby of saltwater, have always kept a freshwater tank of 90 gallons and a hexagonal 8 gallon GloFish tank for my daughter, Just recently setup a 46 gallon bowfront tank about 45 days ago and started with a canister filter and a small stand that I returned all and invested into a Trigger System CR44 sump and AquaMaxx Q3 skimmer and build a stand myself as I have loved this hobby thusfar so so much that I have already made a decision to upgrade my tank to a 175 gallon bow front in a year. So all the investments I am making today are bassically for the NEW tank that I will be getting in the future. Just wanted to get my feet in the door of saltwater to see how I can progress in this hobby. All the support I have received thusfar has got me to go and really motivated to do all that I have done until now. R2R has helped me a lot in a lot of different ways along with the team of #marinedepot #BRS #senergyreefsystem #mrsaltwater #saltwateraquarium and many others. I thank you all for the help and support that I received for over three months before I setup this tank about 45 days ago. I have attached some pictures of the tank that I started and now the new one with the new stand and the tank with the sump.

Alright guys and hello there everyone, I just wanted to update this thread as I have decided to break my bank and upgrade to my future upgrade that’s no longer future but now has become reality. So I have placed the order last month with @advanceacrylics for my 180 gallon tank dimensions of 72L x 24W x 24H and should be delivered in two week. I have build the mixing station with the pictures attached below. I will post all the equipment that I will use on this build here later today so stay tuned along with the stocking of fish list so will definitely need help and suggestions with that. Let me know what do you think of this mixing station as I used a perfect spot in the garage for this and also will setup AWC using @Neptunesystem and I also upgraded my @AquaticLifeProducts twist in RODI by adding the waste water saver kit to plumb to the mixing station for use with AWC.

Ps: before someone says something I know it’s GFCI and NOT GFIC outlet

Let me know guys what do you think so far??

are those doors magnet mounted? if so, can I see how you secure the magnet to the doors?
Yes bud these are magnet mounted using the 90lbs magnets. Link is Popcorners Sweet & Salty Kettle... and then to secure them I have used the European hinge bid to create the holes and mount the washer on the door with the exact measurements to back where the magnets are on the stand. The European hinge hole bid I have attached a picture from Home Depot for your reference. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Very cool - can you post a pic of the back of the door? I might have to use this on a frag tank build I been trying to figure out how to skin.

Sorry I haven’t been able to post pictures of the doors yesterday as when I got home I saw my absolute favorite fish has few white spots on it and started polyplab medic treatment. Hope it works worse I might just have to pick up copper and start using that. Will see but hopefully today I will post the pictures for you.

Hello Bud, I apologize for the delay on posting these pictures here but I hope this helps. I have used the kitchen doors from Ikea with different sizes to cover the front entire length of the stand with four 15” doors and one 12” door in the middle to make the 72” and since the counter top that I used was 75” long I used the same 5/8” thickness doors on the side to cover another 1 1/4” and left the rest as the sides and front matches as the doors sit just about 3/8” inside. I have only used two magnets per door and that’s way too strong so I don’t think it would ever just fall off itself. I have left one side open as that allows me to easy detach the doors from the stand when performing maintenance. I hope this helps. Let me know should you need any further help.

Just wanted to update this thread with the progress I have made with the stand that I have build to move the 46 gallon bow front on and then worked on the equipment mounting board/cabinet for APEX gears and two Versa pumps for AWC along with a Versa that will be used for CaRx in the future on a Aquamaxx T1 CaRx. Also completed the run for the RO tubing and Aquabus cable from the garage inside the house from the mixing station to the tank/sump. Some pictures of the Scape and 3D printed mounting holders..

Alright reefers, just wanted to give you all a quick update on the build as COVID-19 didn’t help much and got a lot of things delayed. But I decided to go and build a NEW stand entirely as I felt as 30” height wasn’t enough so went to 40” height and modified a lot of things from all the items I felt I could benefit from and also build a complete control board that will slide in and out for ease of use and built a shelf on how for Trident and UPC battery back up that will be used for smaller items and will use the ETM battery back up for MP40. Now that the tank is shipped I will post as regularly as I can as I see more progress on this build. Please leave any comments and feedback as you see fit.. 33283865-C39D-403C-8205-B27202B62616.jpeg 0C0F6131-F0CF-4ADE-96E3-52F8CA8E3651.jpeg 62B6520A-2DE6-46E3-A266-4F4727329270.jpeg DAD4ECB1-273C-4987-97A2-31FBF468FB11.jpeg 2EA740A8-92FD-4063-9CC0-A6D56BB031F2.jpeg 71A70DA8-FDCF-4361-84DD-24EE1AF7CC30.jpeg 577BA62C-5DBA-4454-908D-05C1F367AC51.jpeg 7FCB29A4-ADA0-4A8D-98BE-EDC4BE0CE6BB.jpeg 4B9011AE-A9AE-4654-8659-444DBDB5C890.jpeg

Oh! I haven't seen that exact RODI 3d printed mount. Do you have the link that STL? Thanks!
Hello there, I have designed all my own 3D printer mounts and brackets so I don’t think there would be any STL anywhere for these, however I do design custom and plan to sell not to make money but more to supplement most of the cost and pour back into this hobby. You can DM me if interested and I can print them for you in almost any color if I have the filament on hand.
