What's the go-to algea tool for small tanks? Magnet style or wand scrubber? Or just by hand? Currently using just a magic eraser for my frag tank and attempted a magnet scraper for my Evo but it sucks so I need new ideas.
I love the scraper I got and recommended to Nate. I can go 3 or 4 times as long without needing to the clean the glass compared to the magnet scrapers.

They sell it other places too... Just posting the link so you know which brand.

While I love hand held blade scrapers, my canopy limits my maneuverability. That's the main reason I use a magnetic scraper. After they modified the mag float to where you couldn't replace just the razor.. Now I am stuck with $15 replacement blades no matter who I buy from. and they last roughly 6 months... I am exceptionally...

I was thinking of trying the wand type, only because the magnetic style is kinda letting me down lately. Certainly missing enough that I need to go in by hand with another tool after.

Thanks for recommending, I'll be researching today.

She has gotten so big.
im sure she's done growing. I gotta take pics of her tail. Its almost as fluffy as a fox. Last night she curled her tail around my arm. She was not feeling well after whatever stung her. I am so glad we have meds that work for them as well.

I second this one. And if your lazy and don't mind getting wet....just buy the blades and scrape by hand.
I'm usually elbow deep in my fish tank when I'm cleaning the glass.

Not for me! I am so done with that.

I don't even bother, I need to clean the inside of my over flow and I don't even know where to begin. I have a few inches of work space :(

She does look like a big fox.
She acts like one. If I can ever get a video of her pounce... It's pretty funny.
