This is what I’m dealing with now since I used vibrant 2 months ago I’m still fighting it you can check my other threads about the algae but it’s recommended to use vibrant more on a fully established system

I know you keep saying that, but seriously, they are striking!

I love the pastel colors every time I see them.
Too big.
Clowns don’t use them.
Need the mounting space for other stuff.
I’ll keep two for the tub.
Three others… adios bye bye.

If I had a nem tank ready, you'd better bet I'd be sliding into your dm's groveling.

That makes sense.

After @LRT explained things, I’m doing 2 water changes per week and removing algae manually as I can.
Let me summarize everything we talked about so far.
I suggested deep sand bed clean considering you made the same mistake as the rest of us and slacked on cleaning.
We talked about due diligence, routine cleaning and water changes.
2 water changes a week is way overkill. You want your water column to mature.
1 should do it if you clean your glass. Pull your rocks and scrub them and rinse in your weekly water change water.
And like sauce said ride it out. Its a new tank your going to have some uglies. How much is up to you. In not experiencing any in new tank cause I'm all over it. You let yours go just like I did. Took me 6 solid months to turn it around and get into that routine of keeping it stable.
You want some nutrients. Some of these guys tanks drink and eat it up like the kool-aid tests show with hardly any nuisance algae. Over time your tank will mature and be able to handle those nutrients.
Hard work, dedication and weekly changes is all you need to worry about right now.
