I've been watching. Haven't had a lot of free time to post. Anyone with a clingy toddler knows how that goes.

Anyhow. I'm tempted on snagging this bower salty has had for several months.
Cold weather is stopping me from making any orders.

Its free ship! 125 for a small colony. I've had bad fortune in the winter. Got lucky with my blob showing up alive and well.
Next week doesnt look good.

Anyway you can ship to a designated pickup location that stores in temperature controlled areas?

All of the FedEx print centers and kinko offices around me all do this at no charge. Parkside is it also seems the deliveries get made much earlier to those locations.

I'd love to have it held at a ups pickup. I do have a bit of a worry, as my cbb is getting bigger. She's becoming a bit of a coral nipper. One large bower to nip on. There is that also.

Hey so I have a question. I'm young and really didn't use T5 often. My question is can I use any fixture and put any t5 inside that fixture? For example im looking for 2 single florescent fixtures. Can I put any t5 in Any florescent fixture?

Yes and no.

If you are using reef bulbs, the ballast needs to be an HO (high output) ballast. The bulbs will light up (most of the time) with a non HO ballast, but it will greatly reduce light output and shorten the lifespan of the bulbs.

You will also have issues with spread and reflectivity if not a fixture for reefs or horticulture, as the reflectors are different for t5s that would be used in an office.

Best bet is to find some "Grow Light" T5 fixtures on amazon and make sure they are listed as "T5 HO". You can then swap the bulbs to reef bulbs. They sell single bulb fixtures all the way up to 12 bulb fixtures in this category.

Yes. Shes picking on my green trachy. It is 100% my fault. Having the flu, feedings went from 5 times a day to 2 to 3. We're back at 5. Seeing if she stops. Or if i made a monster

If its built for the bulb size and wattage should be just fine. But get HO ballasts.
