This looks like some medieval contraptionI would love to have a good millyard close by. I rent time on an LT 75 woodmeizer once a year to Mill logs to lumber. Everything is air dried a year then vacuum kiln dried after.
I keep all of my offcuts for fire wood which never last past a few camping weekends.

Monti cap is pretty easy to break apart. Issue I've always had is a clean break where I want it. Bone cutters do an efficient job. But sometimes scoring it where you want it to break then trying to snap it works best...what does I use to frag the left side.
