Head shape, jowels and brindle def remind me of moose. Moose has same brindling just not as pronounced until he gets a bath.
If I was to guess I'd say French Mastiff mix. We where shocked when we got moose DNA. We got him as Bull/Cane Corso mixed. His blood work came back with 30% French Mastiff.Rusty’s brindle didn’t come out until he started eating better with us. But he and moose look soo dang similar with mouth open based on your above pic. I could see Rusty being pure American pit bull terrier...but like you said, head and jaw shape. Also, his temperament is so much more calm than any put bull I’ve known.
he hardly barks. Even with the doorbell. He’ll run over to check it out but that’s about it. Idk. I love this pup so much. I can see mastiff or maybe American bulldog. But the temperament makes me think mastiff. Here’s more pics because why not?

But moose doesn’t remind me of Cane Corso. I could sorta see some Bull in him. But mostly French and or a small bit of Neapolitan mastif

Anyone else find it extremely ironic that THOSE posters also failed to use the Search function to know this topic has already been beaten to death as early as Today!
I do and want to make really snarky remarks in those threads but realize that's just stirring the pot.
