was it in crystal lake il?
It was in Worth, IL at the time. But the owner was moving within a week and needed it out ASAP which I wasn't prepared for. Not sure where they were moving to, but the first pic you posted in the thread is definitely the same tank I went and looked at. I eventually ended up with 8x3 tank, would've preferred 8x4, but that would've been a tight fit in the room its in.

Currently working on getting the acrylic wet sanded and polished, then new flooring in the room the tank will go in. Once tank and stand are in the correct room I will be starting a build thread for it as I set up the basement filtration

Very cool. Double brace those legs. Its a bit of weight when filled and are typically on a steel stand for a reason.

Nice to see someone from "down there" into reefing. I'm originally from a little town in far southern Illinois called Olmsted. Not much there these days except some family and a post office and gas station. Same with my dad's hometown of Mounds City. When I was a young kid I really loved going home. Life got busy and I had not been there in about 15 years and what a shocker when I did. Glad your town is doing well. People are so nice down there. Best of luck with your build. Strange note, we used to play against Crystal Lake in football, lol.
