For those that use IO/ RC

At the recommended 1/2cup per gallon RODI, what do you see your SG sit to?

What do you mix to? Planning on going to 1.025 unless there's a reason not to.
Right now I am not happy with IO/ RC. Mine takes nearly 3 cups to mix 5 gallons to 35 ppt and mg is 1500+ CA is 500+ and alk is over 10...

Helicopter parenting...

Kids don't learn independence or the sting of natural consequences when parents coddle them... never let them out of their sight and don't allow them to build trust and learn boundaries.

I was son two in the early 60's, my brother went to a semi private school, I went (2 years later) to a nice community school.
At the end of his psychology degree he went a bit mental, I was more or less ignored when I dropped out of school! ;)

I just switched to regular IO. So far seemed like RC was much cleaner mix.

Who using the regular IO and what does your 1.025 salt mix to mag,alk and calcium params?
I just switched from IORC to Fritz blue because of the super high cal and mag at 1.026. Have probably 10 more gallons of RC to make first though

Ok, the BRS thing was cost per gallon. But IORC mixes to 1.022 per directions.

I say just follow directions, test SG and add more if needed lol.
Thanks for looking. Added 15 cups to 30 g with a spare pump in the tub. Garage has been staying 77 to 78 degrees so my heating is accounted for.

That's the plan. Just need to figure that out in cups. I'm taking notes.
I add rounded cups of io rc then add another half cup after mixed usually hit 34-35ppt

Then my parents are DEFINITELY helicopter pilots.

They have never allowed me to stay at home by myself, I can’t go for a run on my road by myself, I can’t go into a store by myself, etc.
