Maybe even partial soft plumbing on the drain just so it does not have two many 90• bends
A little bit of soft piping between return and hard pipe eliminates pump vibration also.

All soft plumbing here. No hard turns besides my return 90's at tank.
Return at full blast i can barely hear new tank at all. Creepy quiet.

im very tempted. I suppose worst case scenario it’d be easier to change to hard plumbing down the line rather than vice versa

I went with this tubing I got at lfs. Male end slides into bulk head, glued and done. Its 1" overflows but the corrugated tubing opens up to probably almost 1.5". Also went with 1.5" up top.
Its going to be wierd when I tear down the other table. Its all u can hear in the room at this point

i have a two bits of this from my pro clear sump. After some reading it seems like corrugated tubing like this is the best option. Don’t know where to find more other than maybe a home improvement store

ah no problem, I figured out what thread you were talking about and read 1 page and got the hell outta there. No place for me that's for sure.

I've got Brandon on ignore, I got my degree in arts and literature and I'm a better scientist than that 'individual.'
Dang now I wanna know. linkkkkkkkk

One the lfs in Nashville carries it. I bought an 8’ piece off Amazon also. So it is out there.

May be a good idea to ask your lfs.
