my zoas were fine until I used charcoal.
there's the only change fishdude.
Stripped too much too fast? I run two different types of charcoal in both my tanks with no issues to my zoas... one that I change regularly in the clearfx and aquachar that I change like 25% of every couple months.

Any chance you checked the area for vermitids? I've had a couple pop up in my zoa colonies and anger them before. Couple bumblebee snails knocked that problem out.

I have two.
they aren't bothering anything.
in fact one is covered by a different colony.
and as they cover it , it continues to add to it's shell.
and the zoa's continue to climb.

Yup, I look at it throughout the day while I'm working but then I have to step away at night or I get nothing done:). Always coming back to check for updates and then replies and then more reading and on and on :p
