Now that clown makes me think of an article from an issue of "Tropical Fish Hobbyist" magazine that I have from about 2002. It was the special 50th year issue, so they included an article written as though it was 2052 talking about the advancements over the last 50 years. One thing in the article was a "new special breed" of clownfish that was a deep vibrant blue color (using hue-edited photos). Maybe your clownfish is part of the lineage used to produce this future coloration?

Maybe I can share some other interesting finds in this magazine from almost 20 years ago.
