@fishguy242 i didn’t realize you were basically your own LFS. I may have to come visit once the tank is up and running (unless you’d be willing to ship). That or maybe someone near me would be willing to pick stuff up for me (for a fee). I’m pretty sure Fishy is roughly in my neck of the woods.

anyway, I feel ridiculously accomplished for reading all 539 pages (what’s wrong with me? Lol)

She’s gorgeous! And thanks, our boy Rusty was a rescue. He’s really come out of his shell and is a joy. Very goofy and sweet. So much for the “vicious” pit bull

I've got a soft spot for mini doxies. I've had them since I was 6.

Call it a rat, but that dog is fearless. It has us killed a raccoon that got in the trash can while she was outside. How the heck?!?!? She weighs 11 pounds and raccoons have thumbs!!!! She wasn’t happy about the emergency vet visit for a rabies booster though.

I know the answer, but it still amazes me. Even being a mini, they know how to bite down to the snout of their enemy and not let go. Same principle as full size ones being used to hunt badgers. Just crazy.

Exaggeration lol. There are 53 on that rock alone. Look left in the pic, one under the monti. They are about to the point of 1-2 splits a day lol. Then every tank but the angler tank has a few in them also. Plus some in a basket in the little frag tank lol.
