Sort of. You can place some rocks on it, zip tie it or whatever works to hold it to the rock. You just want the nem to have the pipe as the only option to climb up.

I'm going to guess that the reason it will climb the tube is because it now looks like it's really deep in a hole and will climb up to the end to be able to access light and flow / join the party?

In your experience how long does it usually take for it to climb up?

Basically, yes lol.

I have had bta do it in an hour and then take 2 days. Cant really say for sure.

interesting day.. elec co. updated meter at 1 pm ,took all of 1 min,needless to say took me 15 min,to shut down all,equip, an hour messing with the pumps that needed a kick start...,12'er still no skimmer ,mag 5 stubborn,
all good ,done tonight,upsizing whole skimmer in the morn...
these guys tried to do this yesterday ,midday knock on door no notice,practically insisted they had to do it , in grid order

yeah I realized around 28 that truly being an adult equals realizing no one really knows what’s going on. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.
