Best way to cut acrylic is with a table saw fitted with a fence.

You do not need a special blade. Really any rip or crosscut blade will work. The higher tooth count on the blade, the faster you will need to feed the work through the blade to keep it from melting. New prepared as this will throw around a lot of little pieces of acrylic. Drop the blade in the table so there is any 1/2" protruding. Make both long cuts, then short cuts. Ppe required.

For a viewer the black bit with the big hole needs removing and then just seal the two holes on the left, I used to make viewers but slightly differently.

Yes. Sorry didn't mention, The picture I laid out was for the follow up, how do you cut off the weirs.

Lucky for me this box is the wet side of a HOB overflow kit. No holes except the ones I want to make

Apparently we all have the same weather currently.
Grey cloudy and rainy!
T-storms, windy as heck and lots of rain here. Hopefully the break from it they have e predicted stays. Have a guy coming to look at my pathy, as I am gonna sell it.

I don’t have a table saw. I have a miter saw. Can I use that? Or what if I mail it to you? LoL.

I could easily modify it however you need if you want to send it here.

A miter saw is not the right tool for the job although it COULD be used successfully. I wouldn't personally.
