Going to move the RFAs up out of the sump and into the DT today. Firstly, who would win, rfa or bubble coral?
The best option for them may be close enough for the bubbles sweepers to touch. I wouldn't be worried about it with my bubble tips but don't know about rock flowers.

I have a mental block to the blue light pics, not picking on anyone just saying, I love colours!

You have the most beautiful pics! We got filters for our Nikon but the thing won't focus in unless we're at least 3-4 ft away....what's your secret?

I’m so freaking excited. Going to teach my step daughter how to keep a reef. I had hoped this hobby would be a good way to bond. I’m glad I’ve decided to give the 53g tank to her after my DT is up.

That's awesome. My youngest is always up in my gear when I'm doing anything with the tank. She asked if I could teach her how to maintain the tank so that when I'm away on business she can be responsible for it.

When my daughter pops 'round she always spots new additions. ;)

Agreed. @najer is the master of reef pics. Can’t wait to try my hand at it but I’ll be grateful if I get anything half as good.

can’t copy that British humor though. Try as I might...

That’s kinda funny, my kiddo was first drawn into being interested in our incredible hobby when I took her and m’lady to the main LFS I frequent. They have a 450g display leading to the saltwater section on an open stand. She was entranced by the bio-pellet reactor they’re running and the sump and Ca reactor. Now she wants coral. There’s a favia WWC has that she calls the “eye of ender” coral (she’s into Minecraft). Hilarious because I’ve had my eye on it as well.

I suspect the kiddo getting into the hobby will open the door for me to have more freedom with an extra tank or...three. Which is a happy coincidence

Thanks, I am ok with a camera on a reef aquarium, you should see my mentor's pics! ;)
