Hi all! Need some help from the masters pretty please ;Nurse
Anything change with parameters recently? Anything near the elegance?

What's light like with the lobo?

I don't think we've changed anything since we got them other than trying to get parameters up to par
My lobo prefers the dimmer areas of my tank. My elegance was struggling when the clowns were trying to host him. Neither of them want *anyone* touching them.

were they added as you were trying to bring the parameters up?

maybe that change would be enough to p*** them off?

(idk. Just trying to be deductive)

he said something about it being a night for pms only. Guessing he needs some recharge time or something.
Thanks for the heads up.
I’m going to glue animals to rocks for awhile.
I’ll be back in a few.

We turn up the light a bit from 25% to 35% to see if that would help
May help the ele but I don't think it would help the lobo. Try moving the lobo to an edge first before you mess with light settings would be my advice on that one.

No, these are our 1st corals, originally placed in clean tank with salt mix. Eventually we figured out that alk needed to be increased (from 7), and worked from there to increase Ca++ and Mg to what it is now

Nothing touching, no fish, just coral QT and inverts
Also, maybe it's just the photo - is your elegance standing straight up or do you have it angled? Mine is happier at an angle, if you look at the coloration on the skeleton you can usually tell the natural position.

Standing up on plug, that's how we bought it, and it looked great until we dosed Mg

I missed it, what's your mg at and from where and how fast? I'm not sure how sensitive they are to changes in mg....

I am notorious for neglecting my magnesium levels. I only seem to need to dose when I see a corraline growth spurt - and never much. I watch for my icps to finally trigger it low.
