We turn up the light a bit from 25% to 35% to see if that would help
Maybe turn it back down?
What’s the flow like maybe that’s making them mad?

lobo can be Finicky. What where’d you get that lobo from? It looks like the kind I killed :(

how do you test?
I think I said it before the first two may still be adjusting?

mad far as that last picture goes, I do t give up on anything until it’s bare bones or completely unrecognizable lol

Yeah I 100% think the lobo is grumping about light - maybe flow. But they're not a MOAR LAMP species

I’m thinking it was the mag? Maybe to much to quick?
I agree, that seems the most likely culprit. At this point I wouldn't try to change anything though, I'd worry more changes would stress it even more.

We're still so new at this, and trying to keep things as stable as possible, but have a gyre in the frag tank that does not play nice as far as programming goes.

Got the all from lfs, ATL area.

Began testing with Redsea and Hanna, now with Trident.

I would give it more time to adjust.

Maldonado like someone else said the elegance may not be happy with its position

Elegance on sand and in a lower flow area. Try 125 par on sand bed and a gentle flow.

6/1 ran out of Redsea Mg, level dropped to 1289 before we got brightwell mg, then dose bumped it up to 1323, that's when Ele really got mad
Yeah, probably too much too fast would be my guess.

Do you know what your salt measures at freshly mixed?

My gut wants to say wait it out, I'm worried doing a water change to drop it a little would be additional unnecessary stress.

Yes, I finally got to measure mine. My ele is about 110 par and I just moved the lobo out of that area and it's happier and fluffier in lower par.

I'm not sure that's a huge swing

that seems like a pretty big increase if it wasn’t done incrementally

Unfortunately not an option just yet. Currently in frag QT, no sand, just rack, and no idea what par is at this time
If he was doing fine with lighting before the mag, I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it.
